Shuttle is constructed by combining solid blocks and simple strip-pieced blocks in a unique layout. The design is meant to evoke the modern textile art of the Bauhaus.

Shuttle quilt top
My shuttle quilt was machine quilted with straight lines ever 1.5". I then added hand stitching with 8wt Perle cotton thread in-between those quilting lines. The hand stitching took 60+ hours for this queen size quilt.
