This quilt's design was inspired by the City Archive in Delft. The brick building has this amazing facade that creates all kinds of shapes and shadows in the light.
Quilt swirl!
Since this quilt was created to celebrate the release of new fabric colors, I wanted the color to shine. So, I focused on complementary color combinations.
Backing in Indigo.
Every fold of this quilt offers something new.
I played with these swatched for days before I landed here.
These solids have a softness to them, both in hue and feel.
